An exceptionally good day starts with picking a cute outfit for a girls’ day out.
Then pair that outfit with cute makeup and accessories that tie it all together. this is the first day in awhile that you’ve felt able to do this in a long time.
Then going out for brunch at a Chattanooga hidden gem with a dear friend that 2025 blessed you with in one of your lowest moments.
Then, a trip to the art museum, where you get in for free because of your college art class. There’s an interactive poetry piece where you create something for the next eyes and mind to see.
Then, because your parking is free, you walk around the city arm in arm with your dear friend, stopping for coffee because what is a girls’ day without a latte?
Then you go to the mall because the day isn’t over, and you remember the year-end markdowns. You get a $98 jacket for $24 and a $72 dress for $12.
Then you wander around the mall and look at prom dresses, and talk about anything and everything under the sun. time flies, and its time to go home.
The end of an exceptionally good day is when you leave girls’ day feeling so filled with hope that things are better and will continue to be, because tomorrow is a new year that will have so much more to offer.
I think it will be a happy New Year.
